I remember that during the 07-08 season, someone posted a graph to a hearth room thread that showed the heat output compared to stovetop temperature. If I remember right, the heat put out was not linear once you got over 400 degrees F. I also think 500 F stovetop temp put out almost double the heat of 400 F.

Does anyone have an info on this, or even better, a link to a graph?

I did a search here and on google to no avail.
