Greetings. Moved in to a new to us home with a EC42 fireplace that has the 2 fans for moving the heat out of the unit and into the room. The unit is from the late 90's. The fans are really noisy. It's not the fans themselves it is the design. I installed a 5amp rated rheostat to turn them down in hopes of an improvement, but not much help really. I see there are some muffin fans such as the AC Infinity that will move 100+cfm with only 35db or so. Looking for input as to what others have done. By the look of where the fans sit I could actually install more than the 2. I am coming from a home that we had wood stove so I reckon I'm spoiled as to the heat output. Thanks in advance for any input, John
