I'm at my nephew's house and we are attempting to troubleshoot shoot this pellet stove. The symptoms are:
The red light comes on that shows it's calling for heat. A blue light flashes 7 times on the control board ( which I gather indicates it's a PS35). The combustion fan comes on. The ignitor gets hot. The auger motor will not start. We have replaced one snap disk that was bad (the one that starts the convection blower). We bypassed the vacuum switch. Still nothing. I see comments on wiring the auger motor directly to 110 but I am not sure which wires to hook up. I have attached a pic that is the same as this one. I assume the yellow block is a capacitor of some sort since it has a micro farad symbol on it. So any tips on which wires to run direct or any other trouble shooting tips would be greatly appreciated.

It should be the white and black on the left side of the picture. Not the black with red pin.
If you look at the other connector half there is probably nothing (no wire) for the red/black as it is
just a termination point for the cap. Check that first.
This is what I was looking at for the manual - check the manual that came with the stove to see the wiring diagram.
I would not wire directly to a lamp cord. I would use a 2 amp 120V fuse in line. If you do go direct only plug it in for
a second or two.

Did you make sure the snap disk 2 is reset, and the hopper switch OK? You could jumper those.

I reset #2 and it tested good. I bypassed and also checked the hopper switch and it checked good.

The Auger motors sometime stall. They have a bearing cap that you can loosen the screws and adjust.
If you have a meter on ohms, you can check that first before you put 110V on it.

EDIT Remember you could have a jammed auger or bad bearing if the motor draws current but does not turn.
You should take the motor off if you are just testing the motor.
