There are several smaller sized inserts. I have been also looking to install an insert in my ZC fireplace. A few I have found that will fit in mine are:
Country Flame 02
Regency h2100
Regency i1200
Quadra-Fire 2700i
Buck Stove 18
Jotul c350 Winterport
Appalachain 30cd
Lennox c160
Lennox c210
Lopi and Avalon also make some smaller inserts but are 1/2 inch taller that what I can accommodate. Hope this gets you going down the right path.
