Help starting mount vernon

I just bought a used quadra fire mount vernon pellet stove. It has a non digital thermostat.
When it' plugged in you can here the fan running but the auger is not moving. The red light on the back of the stove is lit up.
Any help would be appreciated

Try jumping the vac switch wires together, being sure not to ground it out on the stove any where. Let us know how it goes. If it came with an owners manual, read up on it. If not, download one off the internet. kap

And is there fuel in the hopper?
