We have just installed a used Chappee Bermuda Boiler series 2NP. I have the Installation operating and instruction manual.
we are missing part of the automatic damper regulator.
I belive we are missing a pivot and hex set screw.but don't know I can not find a picture of this set up any where. any help would be welcome...
Thank you from the snowy(6") northeast Kingdom..

The damper is control be a unit called the Sampson damper control, and can be found on line. Buduerus use it in their wood fired boiler You would be better off purchasing a new one, as the one you have may not be in working order.
Jim Quincy from Qht in New Hampshire may have one some. Jim sold Necca wood boiler for years.

You might have to buy an entire control - I think EKO dealers like Cozy, etc. (top of this page banner) should have them.

The controls have been made by Samson, Ammark and I think perhaps another company now makes them.

Tarm might also sell them......

it is possible someone has the parts lying around, but could be tough to find someone to look for you! It is pretty easy to figure out how it goes together if you have all the parts.

If your chappee has a calorstat damper control I believe I can help I just replaced mine with a Samson an it works great. The Calorstat worked but the knob was bent and there were no numbers for repeatable reference but it does have the pivot arm and screw. If interested PM me with your address and I will send it to you. There is a guy on eBay that sells these colarstats for $259 WOW that's a lot of money.By the way the Samson is $77 +20 shipping and I highly recommend it.
