Hello! Im trying to install a wood stove. My issue is the chimney. Im going out the wall. Going out the roof may be better but its not an option. My issue is once I get the pipe out of the house and go UP. Its going to come out of the house apx 2/3 feet lower than the roof. My house has a completely jacked up roof. A Roofers nightmare. It has peeks/gables/hips and valleys there is no Level Flat area of the whole thing. Where I want to go up it has probably 5 ft or so of clearance but then it goes up to a gable the top of the gable would be the highest point of the roof. BUT its WAY up there. When I put my pipe up do I need to clear the highest point of my roof?? That's going to be a LOT of pipe sticking out in the air. Even with supports this KS wind is not going to play nice with it. I definitely don't want to catch anything on fire but Im at a loss. Any suggestions?

The chimney needs to be 2 ft higher than the nearest roof point within 10ft. This is known as the 10-3-2 rule.

Some pictures of where the chimney is proposed to go showing the challenge would be helpful. Is there a plan B location if the problems can't be addressed at plan A?

That doesn't look too bad. Is the location after the side window and further away from the power lines? If there is just attic of knee-wall space above the stove location, straight up would be better, easier, and probably would cost less.

The attic is tall to nearly nothin Its too hard to access and even when I was in there I couldnt get over even close to the wall I thought that also but its a no go. Further from the power lines

What direction is the red door pointed?
North?
East?
South?
West?
