I am looking at a hearthstone homestead with tall legs (6 inch?) and had some quick questions for the more informed. If I purchased this stove it would be sitting on a 12 inch high brick fireplace that is now currently a regular fireplace with ceramic tile floor everywhere around it. What would I have to do to make this a doable operation? Thanks for any input.

If your setup is like the one shown on page 19 of the manual you should be good to go. Check the other clearances to the sides and to the mantel though. They also need to be met or exceeded.
