Should I rent to move 4 cords of wood? I found a great deal on Craig's List but I'd like to make one trip. If any one has a better idea I'd love to hear it.

Thanks

What kind of wood? If its oak or similar hardwood it will be at least 3000 lbs a cord and thats 12000 lbs. I dont think U Haul has a truck rated for that kinda weight.

Red/White Oak is about 5,000#s green/wet and 3,800#s seasoned and a cord, as we know, is 128cf. Go from there and don't get an overweight ticket.
