How close can a LCD TV be to a pellet stove?

The pellet stove is in a room with limited wall space. I've read that pellet stoves throw heat forward not up. Does that mean that a LCD TV could be mounted above the pellet stove or on the short wall to the left of it and not be damaged by the heat?
 
Most pellet stoves blow the heat off towards the front
some also radiant heat so it depends i=on which stove you have
miin. clearances are in the 6 in. range for sides and back with 24 in
an average for the top ( need room to add pellets)
So I see no reason not to put your TV where you want . It most
likely gets hotter than the top of most stoves anyway
