How hard is it to replace a ignition element in a Harman P68

You will have to remove at least one of the lower rear shrouds, maybe both, so you can see the wires that feed thru from the back for the igniter.
Then remove the igniter cavity cover from the bottom of the burn pot. Just above the opening there are two 1/4" drive zip screws. Loosen them & drop the igniter from it's mounting location. Carefully pull the igniter out of the cavity & draw the wiring thru from the back until you can see the spade connectors. disconnect the spades from the old igniter & set it aside. Reconnect the spades for the new igniter & mount it using the two zip screws. Carefully draw the wiring back thru the grommet so the most of the wiring is out of the igniter cavity. Leave a little slack in wires in the cavity, tho... Make sure your spade connections are still tight. Re-install the rear shroud(s) & the igniter cavity cover & fire it up!

Don't forget to unplug the stove, just to be on the safe side (for you and the stove).
