Hey guys
In the coming 2-3 months I plan on installing a Class A Supervent chimney in my new garage. I have 23 feet of chimney as well as the T(and plug). However, I don't have a support brackets or a rain cap. All chimney was brand new and I got it all for $500 (for once the "luck" Gods were looking down at me
They seem to pass by me often and this time made a pit stop!!). I only need about 12 feet of Class A chimney to get well above my garage roof.
So I think I am missing: wall thimble, couple of 15 degree elbows (avoid going through the overhang of the roof), 2 wall bands, wall support and a rain cap. Am I missing something?
How hard is it to install this setup??? I cringe at the idea of trying it however I am fairly handy, I just built my garage. I think it is the fact that it has to do with fire....
Thanks in advance
Andrew
