installing new stove this afternoon, I need to silicone the appliance adaptor, the rest of the piping is already sealed. How long does it need to dry before using the stove?
The stove is still in the driveway.it's dry by now
That is kind of my question. Tube of silicone says "dry" in a hour and fully cured in 24. Will i kill it if I only wait an hour or speed up the curing time?It will dry faster if you light the stove up lol
I did the same thing, now problems at all, but it sure did cure quicklyWhen I put my stove in I used hi temp silicone on all the joints and immediately fired the stove never had any issues... I know it's not suggested to do that though

Curious if you had a link to this stuff? sounds nice.I use silicone self bonding tape and use instantly. Easier to remove if have to. Makes nicer looking install too.
Went great, first burn Is smoking is out of the house and I have to silicone my offset elbows; but man, what a difference between the englander and the harman.Jason 845 how did the install go? Where did you bye the stove?
