How many extra wood stoves do you all have around your place not counting the ones that are in service? I have two at the moment. One will be gone tomorrow. Wife will be happy once they're sold. :)

We have one unused Craft wood stove in the basement.

I am still trying to figure out the thread title meaning?

I have 1. Very poor design and if it ever leaves here it will be to the scrap yard. Couldn't sleep at night if I sold it to anyone with intentions of using it in there home.

I kind messed that up. I tried to edit title.

Four and one cast iron gas stove still on the pallet.

What do you want the title to be?

I have 1 wood stove & 1 pellet stove not in-service. Wood stove needs some repair which is why not in-service. Repair entails removing top by cutting welds to replace top of burn chamber, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Pellet unit has been serviced. Just have not had time to give it a test run ,older 25pvcd Englander not an auto start unit. Wood stove is a secondary burn unit from late 90's heated trailer for 7 years with it. MFG long gone.

None. But don't ask about the industrial sewing machines that "stand ready"... (I'm a junkie)

yeah, like many, I have two. a jotul 602 that my wife will never let me part with and a DW 2461.....both gathering dust.

Three in service and one new Woodstock sitting off to one side til spring when it'll replace one of the in-service ones, which will then be stored and probably in my way.

I want to know why the wife is so attached to the Jotul 602, tcass.!

I love machinery and I love "old stuff". I particularly enjoy breathing new life into "vintage" items, but I don't know a lot of women who share my passion for it...

Our 602 does greenhouse duty now which is a shame for such a nice looking stove (cranberry enamel).

Must be a very classy greenhouse! I'm envious.

I'm just starting to clean out the greenhouse and get it ready for spring planting. It just has a little lettuce and carrots growing right now as well as being a home for our lemon. This is what it should look like in a month or two.

Drool. No greenhouse here. And it's still really cold and our raised beds are still gettin' ready to start soakin' up the snowpack that's upwards of 20". But sugarin' is about ready to start and that means that it's time to think about germination. How great is that?!

But MOFGA is a bulwark! and long time members never get too bummed out by the hands February and March deal us. We're patient... a lesson of necessity.

Getting ready to put the Dutchwest 2460 back in so I can fix a leaky seam in the Keystone. Then I've got a plate-steel step top N-S burner, an Englander 24. It can be top- or rear-vented.
