I'm sure there are variables such as BTU output and blower capabilities. I'm planning on a Kinderhook with 50K BTUs at max and a 160cfm fan.
I'm looking at putting in a very heavy-duty shelf system in my basement for pellet storage: (broken link removed)
This would be 8' from the front of the pellet stove at the closest point, and I'm actually hoping that the installers can cant the stove's angle a bit to direct the blower more towards the center of the basement and less in the direction of where this shelf would be.
It's easy to find recommendations for how close a stove can be to something on the sides or to the rear, but I can't find much on safe placement for items in front of the stove.
My installation was just scheduled for Thursday, Nov 14th and I want to have everything ready-to-go beforehand.
