how much did you pay for your Sooteater?

I want to get a Sooteater and wanted to know what is a good price?

I bought the combo of the Sooteater extra rods and creosote remover in the middle of this page, price was the same. Didn't get to use the creosote gunk as it was so late in the season.

It is the same. I have used them from the top down. Works great, less dust.

I ordered a second one a few weeks ago on lowes' website. It made more sense for me to just order a second kit instead of two sets of extension rods. Don't believe lowes carries it in the store, but since I was able to use a $10 off $50 coupon online, that made it a little cheaper than ordering from amazon.

I would just order two kits. That way you get the spare head and refills of string plus a whole new set of rods. Price for two kits is only slightly higher than just the extra rods.

Got it at amazon but would have to look to see what I paid. Mine was cheapest from a hardware store that was selling on amazon. Amazon was actually more than the third party sale.
