Hi everyone. I'm going to remove the chain brake assembly from a Stihl 021. Haven't tried this before and it doesn't seem obvious, so thought I'd ask for advice. Does the tension from the spring hold the basic mechanism in place? I figured if I could get the spring off first, the rest would slide out. Trying to save myself some raw knuckles and broken parts.....any advice would be appreciated! Cheers!

Well, that was easy. Once the spring was removed, simple to remove the rest of the assembly. Cheers!
