Hi,

I'm new to these forums so not sure if this is the correct place for this thread, but I have this gas fireplace, and I cant figure out how to remove it. The top has a twist and pushable pin, that goes all the way through the pipe. I have tried twisting and pushing a few different ways, but had no luck. I cant find a model number or name of the fireplace and it was installed when we bought the house. Does anyone know how to remove it? It is not attached to the gas line. Attached pictures of the fireplace as well.

Thanks in advance!

That handle appears to be a control for an inline damper,
& shouldn't be an issue with the removal.
Have you tried grasping the fireplace from both sides
& pulling straight out from the wall?
