Note that there are two ways to reply to posts.
The first is simply to type your reply into the box at the bottom of each page - this puts your reply at the end of the message list with no quoting.

In order to quote all or part of a message, use the small reply text link at the bottom right of the post you want to reply to - once in the reply box, you can edit the quoted material so it refers more accurately to the subject you are replying to.

Try not to quote very long posts without editing the quoted material.

There are various ways to do multi-quoting - that is multiple quotes within on post. Maybe some of our members will describe this and upload the pics below in this thread. Here is one quick description:

When quoting a post that contains pics, please edit out the image attachment tags before posting your response. These are easy to spot, they all have the word "ATTACH" in brackets before and after the attachment code for the image. Highlight all that and delete it to prevent duplication of all the pics. Rick
 
Likewise, IMG tags for linked pics can be edited out to reduce duplication.
