This humidifier throws enough water into the air I can feel it and measure it. Feeding and cleaning a strict requirement. Bad things will grow there if neglected. Coming up on two years with this.

Really cool temp/humidity hygrometer. VERY accurate. I've got two and they read within .1 degree of each other. Can put them in different rooms, one upstairs, one downstairs, etc. Lot's of good reliable info. Quick response time. If I'm starting at 12%RH, I know I have some work to do. Almost two years with these as well.

This is a digital timer with off/on/1hr/2hr/4hr/8hr increments. It plugs into the wall and the stove blower plugs into it. I press it for "on", have my evening, and then press it twice to run for two hours when I go to bed. Sometimes 4 hrs if I've got a good burn. If I get lost in the buttons I press till it goes of, then on, then 1 hr, then 2 hours. Go to bed. Two years soon with these timers, no problem.

And the fabled IR guns. Stove tops, sides, bottoms, control handles, the ceiling above, the stuff next to the stove, and even aiming these at air distribution vents when you're running the furnace fan with no heat to try and distribute some heat. out from the stove room. Two years with it and it still works perfectly.
For the first month you won't find much of anything who's temperature shoulden't be known, if simply for the record. Pretty fun. Windows, door seals, ceilings, floors, pets, your pizza...
Hope this helps someone.
Thanks,
Greg
