jokes on that guy; we could sell that stove for 800 + at our shops used stove section.

That stove won't go for more than $250 in this area, especially this time of year. I am pretty sure I tried to buy this stove and splitter from a customer of mine about a year ago, he was moving and another guy was interested but hadn't showed up yet, well, he did and it was gone. I didn't want the stove but I did want the splitter. I E-mailed him to see what was up with the splitter.

we get all kinds of old timers who built their houses around these stoves... we have brought them in from a job as a trade in, and had them sold before we could even off load it from our truck! fisher, old mill, all nighter, warner, alpiner.. anything like that goes for as much used now as they went for new back in their day.

Around here, every garage, shop, shed, and barn has an old one sitting around. In fact the DNR still use them to heat their out buildings. They are neat but there ain't no way that is better than a good cast stove, better than Vogulwhatever brand for sure!

Looks like it may be in nice condition, but it's a bit overpriced for this area too. What I don't get is the fisher wood burning stove log splitter title. Does the stove include a log splitter or maybe a splitting maul?

The dude has never replied, I asked if he had a splitter as well as the stove but no response yet.

I think this stove is one of those new-fangled combination woodstoves and splitters -- as you put the round into the fire box it splits it, saving you a step. :) ;)
