John,
The Ho, Ho, Hoe ain't gett'in no bling! I might pull it off of the 45.;lol But ya never know. I like keeping it simple and like the all black look myself. Thankfully the wife is not big on jewelry. Glad she doesn't read this..................... No offense ladies! That's just how I tease around. She can take a joke and regularly dishes it out. It's all good. In fact, it's better since she is warm. Witches like fire!

I keep her warm, she keeps me warm. Happy wife, happy life!:)

i didn't buy the trim for mine till last year, was quite content with the barebones look. I was waiting on getting pellets and wandering around the showroom, the stickershock of the original purchase was a distance memory and decided to splurge.

and i may just bookmark the never going to happen post, ya know, never is a really long time.

and if you pull off the trim, the door is drilled in the corners outside the gasket so it won't leak but the holes might look odd

That doesn't look like an Englander...:). Decided on the p43, don't know if I can hold off until next summer though.

Nice looking stove! If that trim was antique bronze, it would look even better (personaly bias - not a shiny bling sort of gal, but the burnt, or even some burnished, metallic make nice accents).

As for witches, sure we like it warm, keeps our brooms in good flying condition - LOL

I'll check the holes out. I just do not like the shiny gold bling. Tastefully done, but not me. Anyone want to buy it cheap let me know (trim pkg.). Maybe I'll let it soak in a bucket of horse piss for a month or so. Might turn out purplish-green? o_O I like to stay boring and warm.

Color and bling are not high on the priority list. Pumping heat out is #1. I am going to set it up in a garage first and crank it up to see what it needs to be another good Harman stove. Might just need a hug and a kiss which it already got loading it up. Pic was taken in a barn up in the back. I unloaded it with the tractor and it is now in a different location ready to get violated with a tune up. It fired up and worked but ................ fingers crossed it didn't get a new bad attitude on the way home.

I want to go thru it to check things out and know what it's all about. I am in a hurry to get it installed but it is going to have a temp. install first. Ten when I park it where it lives all should be good. I'd be in a bigger hurry if the 68 wasn't living up to what it is........

Spray paint is your friend (or at least I use a lot of it for various projects). Can turn that trim to any color you want - from my favorite of Antique Brass to cast iron black.

Oh and just noticed your icon. You a Boomer Bubblehead? If so, thanks for yours as well and you'd never get my tail in one of those! No Loud Handle for joining the Martin-Baker fan club.

Ugh Ooh! Little Bogie gal is giving F4 a rough time! Gotta admit it was a good shot. Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day and Hello TJ. How ya been? I have not been here much lately except to pop in and out rather quickly. Been busy working and finishing major projects at home too.

The PC45 also has the trim for the ash lip which we took off loading it up. Just not too fond of the gold nor disco balls. If it was nickel I could live with it. I know I can get chemicals and patina it if I wanted.

Tell ya what. I'll throw in a free horse or a kid to sweeten the deal. Take your pick. Most of you are empty nesters. Ya know you want one or both.;)
