I see a lot of people selling their old wood-burning stoves on Facebook Marketplace. They say the older ones burn too much wood, so they’re replacing them with newer, more modern ones.
Whoa...really? That's one of the most sold stoves in history. How is it they never even burned in it, not once?I also see some outrageous high prices for some of these old smoke dragons on marketplace but there are some good deals out there. I found a never been burned Jotul 602 CB for $500!
The guy changed his mind about installing it and left it in his garage for 12 years. 😳 Now I have this 602 and another V2. One or the other will be put into service when I get done playing with my 606.Whoa...really? That's one of the most sold stoves in history. How is it they never even burned in it, not once?
Nice. Always good to have choices. The guy changed his mind about installing it and left it in his garage for 12 years. 😳 Now I have this 602 and another V2. One or the other will be put into service when I get done playing with my 606.
I recently picked up a one season old princess with all kinds of extras for 3500 on craigslist, and not long ago saw one for 2k in southern nh but it sold. There are some good deals on the used market, but like anything else, you just need to know what you’re looking for/at. I see a lot of posts with just a picture (not of the name plate) and “wood stove” as the description.
I’m keeping my eyes out for a BK Princess/Chinook 30, and PE Summit right now…. So if anyone sees one in a poorly written for sale add, please send it my way 🤣
