I couldn't find a steamer I liked so I went all last burning season without one. Either I couldn't find one narrow enough for my slim insert top, or the ones I found that would fit did so with overhang and cosmetically wasn't really working for me.
I began to search for one again for this year. I found the Achla Designs Moiety Steamer on Amazon, it is specifically designed for wood stove inserts. I really like it. It fits great and has an art deco'ish look to it.
Just thought I'd share in case other insert owners were having difficulty finding one.
