Installing a pellet stove infront of base board heating. Question

I'm planning on installing a Harman P43, in the corner of my living room. The corner I want to use has baseboard heat on both walls.
Would this be very problematic?
any help would be great.

Might get very close to exhaust. Have seen others have to build a raised platform.

Would think it would be fine as long as you maintain all required clearances....baseboard not really considered combustible I would image...and nothing from stove would impact its operation if needed, except maybe restricting some air flow around the baseboard.

I intend on buying a corner hearthboard, and framing the bottom in with 2 x 6's to bump it above the baseboard. I would be 5 - 6 inches above the baseboard metal, (the piping is much lower).
That would certainly have been a problem. I figure the height would be nice for heat distribution and ambiance.

Anyone foresee any other issues?

Thanks a lot Bob, I figured on that too, that is minor i.m.o., also it may be difficult to clean in between the heart and bb.
I was looking for major issues.
I think I will proceed with the location.

Nice setup! I actually have a window in the same position too. I'm pretty sure the manufacturer recommended height of the center of the exhaust is 10" on mine. So I will be raising my hearth with 2 x 6's.

My baseboard are 7 inches, do it was a close git to the 10 inches on center for my p42. But with two inches from the heart pad, and a set of tin snips, I was able to make the piping fit by simply taking half an inch off my thimble.

If you are going to build a raised 2x6 frame, you might as well just build the whole platform yourself and save some money, no need to buy the corner hearth pad.

Talked it over with my wife and we're both leaning toward "Vermont slate" so it should be easy enough tio build the whole thing.

Easy and fun!! just build the frame out of 2x6, topped with 3/4" plywood and 1/2" cement board and you will be all set. I did mine with a little overhang also. Here is a couple of pics.

Actually don't see what if any problem would arise from Stove being close to any Baseboard

Anyway you could get that electrical cord away from the heater? I;ve seen them get real hot in front of heaters.

its not the power cord, its the temp sensor and it just sits back there and oyu can see the tip stick out the very bottom left of the picture.
