Hi. I found an old stove that had no firebricks. I have laid some down on the bottom, but I'd like to attach some to the sides as well. Is there a way to do this? Is there some kind of glue I could use to attach them to the cast iron? Thanks.
Not really. Wat kind of a stove is it? It may have had firebricks in it before, and then again it may not have. Any way to post pics? I don't think furnace cement will hold. Besides you will get expansion and contracgtion ofth metl and bricks at different rates, so anything that did hold them won't do it for long.
