Hello,
The masonry fireplace in our home already has the required stainless steel liner, needed for a wood stove or insert.
Our home is roughly 1300 square feet, and the living room where the stove would be is small. So we are looking for a small stove that will fit nicely within our fireplace - its dimensions are roughly 26" H x 33" W x 18" D, our hearth is 15" deep.
I have two questions:
1. We've narrowed in on the JØTUL F 100 NORDIC QT based on Jotul's reputation, and the look/size of the unit. Does anyone have experience with this unit? Or a comparable unit that they prefer?
2. Given that we have the proper venting already installed, is it easy to install a small wood stove? My husband is very handy, and would like to do it himself.
Thank you!
