Is a little smoke smell normal for pellet stoves?

I have a Harman Accentra Insert that was instaled by a professional in September. When I walk inot the house I can smell a little fire smell. The smell is nothing like the smell from my fireplace in my last house, but it is still there. Is this normal? If so, how much smell is normal?
