I assume those wildfires that burn for months were "registered" also...?
Lol,you should see all the wackadoodles here burning in their backyards.should put a stop to that.

It's true. In Vancouver I had a condo, and it did not have any AC, Just baseboard electric heaters. It was in an 8 unit building.
Everyone had a wood burning fireplace. Probably there are large numbers of houses and condo's in that area that burn pure open flame wood. We are not talking wood stove or wood fireplace, just a firebox and screen.

I think that is what they are trying to do. Getting people to upgrade or stop burning. Now some people just burn those firelogs once and awhile, but those are terrible. I can say the chimneys were good. Big double wall. We didn't use ours much as we had no wood. I did buy fire logs, but they were hit and miss. They would start out nice, then at the end it sucked.
 
Just wait until they figure out that you produce methane. I’ll let your imagination figure out how they’re going to read that!
