Jetstream Rebuild- Thank you Hobbyheater!

This is my second rebuild of my Jetstream and this forum, and Hobbyheater in particular were a huge part of the success. I believe the biggest failure in the first attempt was not properly curing the cement. We did 20 burns of 3lbs and 20 of 4lbs and 10 of 6lbs to get the moisture out. It has been operating "full" time now for 2 months and I am thrilled with the performance and condition of the of the refractory, THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR SHARING YOUR STORIES

Thank you! Again much of the credit goes to you and the other kind people who post their stories. The idea to move the blower came from a post I read at this site and makes the cleaning much easier. The decision to raise the boiler onto cinder blocks also made the cleanout much better for my old bones lol.

Thank you! It is awesome tech for sure. We heat about 3000sqft of living area, 1000sqft of garage plus domestic hot water from the unit which runs about 6hrs a day.
We debated replacing it with something new with an easier cleanout and easier loading but in the end I'm happy we didn't
