Jotul 118 Hi I just obtained a good condition Jotul 118 ( I think). It is green enamel with bas relief on the side. It has 3 removable plates inside. one on top, and one on each side. I believe that the stove is 10-15 years old. I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to upgrade the inards and increase efficiency

Not really...it's a good stove as it is as long as you burn it correctly. That means decent wood, a good chimney and not turning the air control down too far. Better to use less wood and more air - a cleaner fire will result. -
