Well, apparently this is a common issue! I attached pics of where I'm getting air in, it's the same on the other side of the front door. I have replaced all gaskets, but I haven't done much maintenance and I am not sure how best to address the problem. I feel like there may be other locations it's not airtight and I'd just like to cement it everywhere I possibly can. Our local stove store is the absolute worst... there's just no customer service whatsoever... he hates people. It's odd. And I could buy half a new stove for what people want to come out and just look at it.
The only issue with accessing this area is that there seem to be internal plates covering up where I would need to put furnace cement on this joint. I don't want to ruin my stove, but I also can't load it overnight because I'm afraid it will overfire.
If anyone has any ideas how to address this area for a leak without totally tearing the stove apart, and maybe the best furnace cement product for this, I would very much appreciate it.
Thank you,
Mo
