Just out of curiosity. If you just rebuilt the stove and had it all apart. Why wouldn't you replace every gasket. Why do some and not all.
Good question. I replaced all but the ash and stove door gaskets, thinking they might still have some life left in them. But in retrospect I should've just replaced all. Now the only gaskets that I haven't replaced are the door window gaskets, need to pick up some extra of that size gasket.

The test last night went well, I was able to control the burn nicely with the primary air control.

I noticed the edges of the door glass wearing a bit where the metal retainer clips contact them. Not ideal. Anyone have any solutions to this issue? I don't tighten the screws holding the retainer clips very much, just enough so they aren't loose (I cracked a glass pane the second season I owned the stove by overtightening on of those). Had the thought that a small bit of thin gasket between the clip and the glass might help.
