Go to Walmart & get a container of ceramic cooktop cleaner, similar to this product (below)
Spread it around with your fingertips, rub harder in the built-up areas & wipe it off with a damp towel.
If your glass has had this condition for more than a couple of years, you may nit be able to remove it completely.

Remove the top of the stove, in the gap between the firebox and the doors you should see 2 clamps that hold the glass on at the top. The bottom sits in a track, make sure it goes back in when you replace it.
