I am going to build an addition to my log cabin next summer. Upon completion, the log cabin will be 1,600 sq. ft. Well-built and well insulated.
This is in the NC mountains, high upon a hill. Typical winter day, 20 degrees with a 30 mph wind. Brutal wind up here in the mountains in winter.

Do y'all think the Oslo is up for the job, or should I go up to the 600 Firelight?

If you build it tightly and can insulate the F500 should do the job ok. If not, go for the F600.

Oslo should be fine based on what you are posting.
