Hi all,

Almost ready to get my stove installed. Just went and picked up a princess 32 yesterday thanks to the groups help! It was between a blaze king and lopi. Now I need to get the chimney pipe and stove pipe before my scheduled install in about 2 weeks, so need to order pipe asap. My installer mentioned duravent and Jeremias but said I can get any pipe I want. Since I didn't tell him yet, he just went ahead and quoted me for duravent.

Im wondering what pipe you all recommend? Is the Jeremias worth it over Duravent - Don't really understand the differences other than the metal being a better stainless steel.

Im looking for a pipe that has good insulation to keep a good draft, has good connection points that won't easily come apart during chimney sweep and wont leak easily, and maybe one that is safer to withstand a chimney fire.

I'm not trying to get something super expensive that's going to last 100 years, but I want something that will perform well and be headache free for years to come.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

re stove pipe - others know better, but I am really impressed with the way they package it for shipping. When I got my brand new pellet stove the installer already unpacked it to prep it, so I didn't get to see it "brand new in box".
I have ICC brand pipe and the quality is very good.

Other side note (not enough pipe brand knowledge): Keep the pallet wood (without nails) for some good kindling; that's what I did.

I'm not familiar with Jeremias, but I've been using Duravent brand stove and chimney pipe for over 30 years. I've had to replace my single wall with new Duravent 7 or 8 years ago, but no complaints.
