What is the maximum length or best length to cut wood for a vp 100?

I believe it is 20". And owners will tell you to keep a few shorter pieces around (16"ish) for being able to load fully...getting past the smoke curtain.

I just want to make it clear that I do not own a vapor fire................YET!
