Sweat my butt off in a wooded area of a friends field. Poison ivy galore.
Probably 18" at the base. Pretty big black cherry for this area. Probably a little more than a face cord.

Nice atleast your in the shade....I seem to cutt down my only shade then start working...
 
Good stuff! Not too heavy, easy splitting, faster to season, and burns nice too. I'd say it is worth a little sweat.
 
Yup. Cherry is good stuff. Poison ivy though is at the other end of the scale.

You will like the cherry, burned mostly cherry all last winter except at night then I used some hard maple.
