Hi Everyone,

New on the forum. Have been using an Englander N-30 for about 5 years. Great stove! Today noticed that the door is loose when I close it. Just changed the gasket rope and got the 3/8 ". This is what Englander recommends. Would it help if I got the 1/2" or added another layer of the 3/8"?

Thanks,

I think it's 5/8 or 3/4 not 3/8. If you used 3/8 it's too small. The best bet is get it from Englander. It also needs to be high density and hard to find at local hardware stores.

Also when redoing a door gasket rope never stretch it but bunch it.
