I couldn't bear to have that happen. ;sick

That bites. You invest work and time to stack so the rows won't topple and a bear knocks 'em over.

You can say that it took a bear to knock your stacks over. That's some braggin' rights!

He's just helping to make sure you rotate the stack for more even drying! Looks like its getting good sun layer that way as well!
Maybe he's just making sure you keep up on your fitness level?

That's a big boo-boo. <>

LOL - love the comments, That wood is in the rotation to be burned this year, it 3 year oak that has been marinating in the sun and top covered, I have 5 stacks like that 12ft long x 4 1/2ft high

That looks like it was a grizzly situation. You should have your stacks looking grrreat real soon.
Just grin and bear it...all will be well.
:) ;) :p :p ;) :)

All fixed, it was a bear though in this heat, I lost a lot of bark to so now I have bear bark pieces[Hearth.com] Lost 2 rows to the bear

However they went over, ya might consider lacing them together across the ends at the top with one diagonal thrown in. To me they look a might skinny to stand on their own through a rough wind storm. Has the soil been compacted where they sit?

[Hearth.com] Lost 2 rows to the bear I thought about that as I was stacking but in all fairness those rows will be moved in 7 weeks, 2 in the garage the other 3 plus what's on the pallets to the driveway area for winter prep, 7 weeks is pretty much October 1st and around here it's not uncommon to start burning at night around the middle of October. It seems so distant but when you count in weeks left it becomes apparent that it's right around the corner
