My basment has an 5" opening to a chimney that is a 7" round. The bottom is only 15.5 inches off of the ground. Does anyone know of a coal stove that will vent into this opening?

I doubt you will find anystove that rear vent is 15". What you need to do is cement in in that lower exit which sounds like a prior ash cleanout location and cut in a new vent much higher for the intended stove. smoke rises does not go down hill very well and rise at the same time
