I was able to work from home today and watched a local yard care outfit take down a good sized crab apple tree. I walked down there and got permission to take some from my neighbor. I was told the landscapers will come back in 2 days and take whatever's left. Another neighbor went down there right after me. On my lunch hour I went down and got some. I took mostly straight stuff and left most for others. Pretty easy scrounge. It's a good day when you bring in more wood than you burn. [Hearth.com] Lunchtime Scrounge
