I made a new sawbuck yesterday, the old one became rotten and fell aprt ( not made of PT wood).
The new one is all PT with the exception of some sacrificial strapping.
I have not tried it out yet, but I think it should work well for cutting long branches or shorter splits that need
to be made smaller to fit the stove.

That looks good. In no time, mine went from looking new like that to having bar & chain lube, sawdust and chips all stuck on it. Nicks and slices from errant cuts should have yours looking mature in time, too.

chown -R us ./wood

I really like that design, looks to be a little low to the ground though

Looks nice. I need to make one because I know I have a few logs that will be to long for the stove I am going to buy. Yea I know getting ahead of myself but I learned from everyone here thats a good thing

Yeah, great design. Id bolt some industrial duty locking castors to the bottom so I could wheel it in and out of the garage. It looks sturdy enough to handle all size diameter limbs.
