Since I now understand that components such as heat exchangers may need cleaning even if care is given in water treatment etc. ...I now need to ask the question of what about O2 Pex and Pex al Pex in radiant hetaing....does it need to be flushed and cleaned for proper maintenance? If so ....what is it that needs to be done? Thx again, RH

Unless you fill it with really bad water, it should not need any sort of maintenance. Except in the case of replacing pumps and such, and then purging any air bubbles from the system, the water in the tubing should be the same water that was filled initially, even 20 years later. Unless the water is exceptionally bad quality, a single fill will not contain enough contaminants to be an issue.
