hello all,

Wanted to find out from all the merrimack owners where they position the baffle. seems there is room to move it forward, midway and back. i am having trouble starting fires and keeping them lit long enough for it to catch plus im getting alot of smoke. (not sure if this is a wood problem - verdict still out on that) does the baffle location have anything to do with it. i currently have the baffle pushed all the way back, so it looks like to me air only escapes through the chimney towards the front glass.
