I hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and enjoy time with your families. I have learned so much from you this past year since we purchased our pellet stove.

Thanks for all your help and advise.

Stay warm.

Christmas is for kids, I buy what I want. Old farts like me get the usual, socks, Tee's and assorted things that wind up in the dresser drawers. At least the season entails eating and then the dieting to loose the excess fat............

Been doing that (eating) in spades.

Merry Christmas all and the best for the New Year! Next year will be different for our family as one of our twins will be in Thailand completing her teacher practicum (school program). Will be the first Christmas where all the kids haven't been home for part of the holidays. We're enjoying this one!

Our Christmas was blessed in many ways this year. We did have some missing people who were traveling etc. but some unexpected ones showed up. A couple of young troubled people in the family appear to be getting it together. They came here Christmas Eve, I even gave one of them a piano lesson.. Christmas Eve was extra special this year. That girl has been on the run for 3 years, now 17 and she looked great. She looked and acted drug free. She looked well kept and well dressed. We just keep the prayers going her way and anyone who believes in that kind of power is free to join us in that ( this includes anyone with that notion in this forum) ! The more the merrier. When this girl comes into to her own she is going to be something to behold, I've been telling her mother that for about 4 years now.. She will have hard lessons in life to share for sure but there is something special in this kid, I just feel it, I somehow know it to be true.... I may be the only one in the family who feels that way but that's what I feel even though I have no particular clue as to what that potential is yet. My belief is that one day it will appear in her.. And I can't think of a better time than Christmas to share that thought !

Dont understand Altheat, who would let a 14 yr old girl "on the run" and allowed to be on drug's?, sure i was on drug's when i was that age...but that was in the '70's....Everyone was on Drug's!

I was a REAL good boy this year.

These stories are never pretty Pellet King, I don't have to tell you that.. They can be however beyond reasonable understanding and they can end in complete tragedy . Within a forum it's beyond rationalizing or further discussion in details but it went Multi states, Multi officials, FBI, criminals, arrests etc etc etc. You have absolutely no idea, don't even try to speculate. I lived a little closer to it than you and I can't even speculate on it. If you are that type of person Pray for her well being is all I ask. Yes it was that serious for just about three years is all I will say.. And no I don't understand it either. I don't have enough details to.

Tim.. Nice pellet hauler!

Bed is only rated for about 1600lbs so I still need my trailer to haul a full ton.

With a big enough trailer, I could haul 5 tons.

Welcome to the 'Empty Nest Club'. We have been charter members for a couple years now. Nice to visit them but nice to come home to peace and solitude too. Have a safe New Year. I'll be up north, hunting. Go every year over New Year.

Easier to just grab the trailer.

Alt heat, Do not give up on that young lady. Sometimes parents have to step away for their own sanity ... at least briefly. If the family keeps on reaching out, finding and communicating her self worth, that she can have a better life but has to face consequences of her past decisions ... No easy way but family support can make a huge difference. Help her find her talents, desires and passion in life. Don't give up...
