While doing some research today, I came across this "Spruce Stove"

I could use it in my shop, just bolt up a little electric hoist affair and move them in with my skid steer , theoretically speaking it would be much cheaper that way. Less saw wear no splitter needed ..... Just need an auto feed....

Been covered a couple times in past threads. So far no one here has installed one. It says the wood must be dried in order to not smoke badly. Right, wood doesn't dry to quickly in log form.

Might run just fine off 2x or 4x material though. You'd be waiting a long time if you tried to season it though.

I'd never seen or heard of that smoke dragon. interesting concept. not sure that i would want one. i probably couldn't handle the reload anyway.

It's an art project, not a heater.

I think it's pretty cool but I wouldn't want to have to actually use it.

Great. Now I have to wait 5 years for my whole trees to dry. Then load them into it.
