I always do a mid season cleaning of my liner around the 1st of the year and here is today's results. Lopi 1250 with an uninsulated 15' liner averaging 2 cold starts a day. This season's wood was all 16-19% at the end of summer. The majority of it is 2-year old bigleaf maple and 1-year old red alder. Not everybody gets a teaspoon of crud every 2 years.
After 8 years, the bricks in the back were looking a little beat up so I went all out and bought 4 new bricks today.

Thanks for that aluminum foil idea.

Thanks for that aluminum foil idea.
There's no foil. The door opening has a sheet of plastic over it. The edge of the plastic has duct tape on it from previous cleanings before I started using magnets to hold it on.
