This is Chestnut Oak c/s/s 4 months

This is an Oak that had been laying on ground dead at least 2 yrs c/s/s 4 months, so it is drying faster than the live ones.

This is Black Gum that I could not split 5 months ago split easy today and look at M content. Have no idea how this stuff burns
