Looking at this stove this weekend but the guy doesn't know what make or model it is. He's out of town so he cannot check it.
I was wondering if any of you know what it may be.

Quad Santa Fe ?

You can confirm by going to their web site and can get a manual downloaded too. Nice to have the info ahead of time to figure out what needs a goods cleaning etc.

A good starter stove. Bring some pellets and see if it will fire up. Not a real strong convection fan. The control box wiggles lose easily and if moved may need reseating. There are a lot of owners of them here on hearth.com

The burn pot bottom likes to rust shut but if stove fires up that can be worked on. Latter today maybe someone with long term use can advise.

Offer him $200 cash if it runs. There isn't too much that can't be fixed on a pellet stove....most of the time used stoves just a need a teardown and deep cleaning.
